	I was commissioned by LouFest to design their 2018 logo and commemorative poster. The only direction was that 
poster include Forest Park, the horned owls that inhabbit it, and the city
 of St. Louis.

I’m not a natural illustrator, so I took this opportunity to really push myself in the scale and detail of the art.
 

The poster release was extremely exclusive... which is to say that the 2018 LouFest was suddenly and unexpectedly cancelled days before the event, and only a few copies of the poster saw
 the light of day.

	Michael Grzesiek, AKA Shroud, built a reputation as “The God Of Aim” while competing on a world stage. He earned the moniker with dead-eye shooting and lighting-quick reaction time using, what is today, a very out-dated but beloved mouse (G303).
 

Historically, personalities aren’t in the spotlight of Logitech G’s professional gaming accessories outside of&#38;nbsp; typical influencer sponsorships and pro endorsments. However, the reimagining of the G303 mouse was born entirely from a collaboration between Logitech G and Shroud, and hinged on his endorsement of “my favorite mouse of all time”.

 Logitech G needed a key-visual package and hype video that also told backstory of the product’s development.Natasha Zerjav and I developed a stark, black and white style to accenuate both Shroud’s and the mouse’s focus and precision. I wrote a concept, script, and storyboards all based around Shroud’s passion for the product, and his relationship Logitech G.

	When Logitech G was concepting the Pro Alliance, they needed a logo and series of icons to represent their five pillars. The vision of the organization being a community resource, lead by experts, dedicated to the development of pro-gamers in these key areas; Equipment, Health, Psychology, Skill, Teamwork.&#38;nbsp;
They wanted a mark that fit with their existing brand (clean/geometric/scientific), but felt exclusive, fashionable, and high performance. An identity closer to an athletic brand, that would still fit into the aesthetic of an e-sports event.

	I developed and presented around 10 marks, which is about 5 times more I typically would for a branding presentation. They quickly narrowed their choice for further development.&#38;nbsp;
This particular mark was made feel monolithic, like a mountain, a bunker, a ziggurat with “G” rising up like a sun. It was refined into the main shield logo, a badge version, and a simpler type-only small version.
I used the repeating angle and rhombus shapes from the main mark to extend the brand into the five pillar icons.

	With the increasing demand for video content, clients want their internal teams to be able execute a high volume of creative content with polished and consistent motion graphics. Using the “Essential Graphics” capabilities of After Effects and Premiere, I produced complex animation packages that can be updated and customzed by simply editing a text box or moving a slider.


	︎︎︎This demo covers two separate campaigns for Logitech G. One targeting professionals and E-sports enthusiats (left), the other a more general gaming audience (right). Each was built as a modular system of components that work together across multiple platforms and aspect ratios.


	This is a headline + body animation being edited with “Essential Graphics”. Just plug in your type, set the size and position, and the animation takes care of itself.

	Prior to the creative execution, I developed a production roadmap optimized for efficieny, to guide the implementation of the templates across the brand. This package also included a collection of asset libraries for text, icon, and logo animations, audio and music libraries.
